OTP Generator — Random Codes & TOTP, Free

Generate one-time passcodes two ways: random codes for testing signup and verification flows, or live TOTP codes — the same kind of code apps like Google Authenticator and Authy produce — from a Base32 secret key. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Random OTP Codes

Choose a length from 4 to 12 characters, how many codes you need at once, and a character set: numbers only, letters and numbers, or letters and numbers with look-alike characters like 0, O, 1, and I removed. Click "Generate" and copy any code individually, or copy the whole batch at once. This is useful for testing a signup or password-reset flow without needing a real SMS or email provider hooked up yet.

TOTP Codes (Authenticator Codes)

Paste in a Base32 secret — the kind you get when setting up two-factor authentication on most services — or generate a random one to experiment with. The tool shows a live 6-, 7-, or 8-digit code that refreshes automatically, along with a countdown bar showing how long it's valid. You can also generate the otpauth:// link that authenticator apps use to import an account. The math follows RFC 6238, the standard behind TOTP, so the codes match what a real authenticator app would generate from the same secret.

Where This Is Useful

Developers testing a two-factor login flow without switching to their phone every time, or generating a batch of throwaway codes for a form that expects an OTP during development. Since the secret stays in your browser and isn't sent to any server, avoid pasting in a secret for a real account you rely on while using a shared or public computer.
